Nob Hill Theatre was a gay erotic theater and strip show in downtown San Francisco that operated from 1968 until 2018. The club’s owners, Gary and Larry, were a married couple in their mid-60s who lived in the basement. The club’s performers were a mix of visiting porn stars and local amateurs, while the audience consisted of tourists, groupies, locals, and businessmen on their lunch breaks. After the club’s sale, the building was slated to become a podiatry center. Gary and Larry have since retired to Palm Springs.
